Overlooking the southern part of Silicon Valley from the foothills, the Saratoga Country Club, one of the favorite wedding venues in the Bay Area, is an impressive setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions. As is true with every successful location, there is a real person behind it who loves her work. In this case the "heart of the matter" is Events Manager Linda Thibeault. She always is there for her beloved brides.

When strong winds tumbled the wooden gazebo on the ceremony site, Linda suggested replacing it with a spacious, white, wrought iron gazebo, large enough to house the officiant, the couple, bridesmaids, and groomsmen, Based on Linda's suggestions, the designer created a structure with an intricate dome consisting of leaf covered iron branches, and resting on thin columns, and a surrounding rail. The manicured boxwood hedges edging the lawn on the ceremony site have grown so high over the years, that it now feels like a private outdoor room with the new white gazebo as focal point.

Inside the club guests are welcomed into the elegant, entrance hall brightened with large skylights. The celebration itself is held in the main dining room. Large floor-to-ceiling windows and doors on two walls allow an unobstructed view over the golf course and the valley. The beautiful, spacious, covered deck, adjacent to the dining room, is available for the guests to enjoy year round. The stage area, situated in the middle of the room, is a perfect set-up for DJ or band.

The reception rental fee includes a coordinator, dance floor, table settings, dining chairs and tables, house linens with your choice of colored napkins, setup, and cleanup. Ceremony site and coordinator are available at an extra charge. Choose from among the several menu options at varied prices, for both seated and buffet dinners, all prepared by the club's executive chef. The club's polite and attentive staff add to the graceful atmosphere of this venue.
