"Upbeat, bouncy, diverse, and fun." "Beautiful music! This is our second year with you and definitely not our last." These were comments from their clients. The Magnolia Jazz Band is well established in the Bay Area music scene, having performed at thousands of corporate and private events since 1975. The band specializes in Swing-era standards and Dixieland favorites. Their music can be upbeat, danceable, or serve as an elegant background. You can hire every size group, from a strolling trio to a 7-piece dance combo.
The Magnolia Jazz Band was recommended to me several times. I have listened to them at various parties and always thoroughly enjoyed their music. Baseball fans might remember them from the opening day of the San Francisco Giants, where they have played for the past five years. Robbie Schlosser, a former science teacher and now the band leader, is well respected by customers and peers. He is very friendly and accommodating and will help his clients with the music selection. During a personal meeting with the client, Robbie discusses and customizes each event, from the wedding ceremony, to background music during dinner, to upbeat dance music. He compares the band to a good waiter who always provides what the customer wants. Most of the musicians have been playing with him for a long time.
To see the band live, request a performance schedule from Robbie. Ask for their event calendar or demo cassette, buy one of their recordings, or visit them and listen to their music on the internet.
