For a late October wedding, Ingela created a spectacular flower decoration,
reflecting the deep reds, oranges, and rusts of autumn. I was struck by the
unusual artistic and inventive work in her designs. The bridal bouquet was
absolutely stunning and included orchids, leonida roses, berries, rose-shaped
pine cones, and hanging amaranthus. At the reception, each of the table
centerpieces, displayed in a rustic urn, was completely different. Clusters of
beautiful flowers such as roses, celosiae, and leucadendrons were grouped
together and incorporated with seasonal fruits, some cut in half, to create a
dramatic look. I watched her decorate the cake with a breathtaking design of
roses, draping grapes, pomegranate halves, and fall leaves. When it turned out
that another centerpiece was needed, Ingela created it on the spot with
materials and flowers she had with her.
She loves a special occasion to show her creativity; to indulge her clients with
the colors, shapes, and textures of her arrangements; and to find the joyful
surprise in their eyes when they see the transformed venue. If you want anything
out of the ordinary, Ingela is right for you. Her references consider her very
knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. " Her creations are so
beautiful, just amazing. When you see my pictures, you can practically smell the
flowers," one of the brides told me. Ingela feels that each event is unique, and
a wedding should reflect a couple’s personal style. To complete the look, she
can provide you with specialty linens, a stunning curly willow arch, custom
chuppahs, urns, or anything necessary to make the event distinct and memorable.
Ingela came to the US from Sweden. After receiving a certificate in Retail
Floristry at San Francisco City College, she gained valuable experience working
for leading design studios in San Francisco. In order to fully express her
artistry and give personal attention to each client, she started her own
business in 1997.
