“Tasteful,” “organized,” “dedicated,” and “warmhearted” come to mind when I think of Nicole D'Ambra. With a twinkle in her brown eyes, she talks passionately about past weddings and the work she loves so much. Clients and fellow vendors, and former teachers praise her professionalism and enjoy working with her.

After graduating with a BS in business management, Nicole began her professional career in the nonprofit world as an event planner for a children's center in San Diego. It wasn't long before she planned her own wedding that she saw wedding planning in her future. Her mother, a high achiever, taught her children that, with organization and planning, they can be as successful in their profession as in family life. Since Nicole's husband is as busy as she is, they solved the problem by having a date each Thursday evening. "So far we've been able to stick to this rule," she told me. Before making the leap to her new profession, the perfectionist enrolled in the course offered by the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC). She was among the top of her class and now has achieved the highest level of certification: ACPWC Certified Wedding Consultant. Additionally, s`he has exepted the honor of serving on it's Board of Directors.

In order to get to know her and her services, Nicole offers a complimentary, initial consultation. She asks simple, fun questions: How the couple met,how they got engaged, and how they envision their big day. She also explains her wedding coordination, full coordination, and full production packages, and how a la carte items can be added. Each initial consultation ends in a casual question and answer session so that Nicole's clients can get to know her and her services.

Nicole is a good listener and communicator, and wants every wedding to be a reflection of her clients' personalities. "I like to devote myself completely to my clients. I welcome their input, their ideas, and I listen to all the details they envision for their wedding. My favorite part of wedding planning is helping a couple realize their vision of what the day is to become. Then I can help the couple turn their wedding into a memorable, stress-free event.”
