Gowns
Winter wedding
- Popular colors are a deep, rich red, as well as silvery blues and gold; snow white, with white silk skirt and black velvet lace-up bodice
- Cloaks are trimmed with fur
- Enhance accessories with “bling-bling,” such as diamantes or crystal beads
Flowers
- Roses and Calla Lilies are the most popular
- Orchids, Freesia, Lilies, Blue Moon Roses, mini Gerbera, Lisianthus
- White roses for summer; red roses and berries in winter
- Emphasis on foliage: sweet pea, bear grass
Color combinations:
- Mauve, lilac and purple, with silver or ivory accents
- Ivory and cream
- Pinks, from cerise and fuchsia to burgundy
- Unusual combinations, such as purple and orange
- Green and white
- Bright colors, such as pink and lime green
- Gold and red for winter weddings
