Mozart became famous while playing piano for the nobles and the wealthy in their
residences.
You don't have to be noble, nor rich to attend one of Anton Schwartz's house
concerts; and instead of classical tunes you will hear jazz in his loft studio
in an historic school building. Hopefully, this will become a trend again: to
visit house concerts, meet new interesting people, and munch on
appetizers.
According to a guest, Anton's September concert was a great
success. It was a delight to be in such an intimate space and listen to this
wonderful music. In such an intimate setting, one could watch the hands of the
musicians. She loved the informal
gathering with personalized approach in a relaxed atmosphere. In close proximity
the musicians can make eye contact and support each other. There was so much
energy - it was fantastic.
Wine was served and Blue Heron Catering provided the most
delicious appetizers, an event coordinator told me. Visit the

You might know Anton from performances in jazz clubs and jazz
festivals around the Bay or from his CD's. Visit
